ESL, International Ed, and Transitional Studies
The School of ESL, International Ed, and Transitional Studies is made up of two academic departments and the international program.
ESL is the largest department at the College with over 700 credit and non-credit courses for students seeking to learn English.
Transitional Studies includes reading, writing, mathematics, and specific subjects at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels geared for students seeking to earn a high school diploma and/or foundational vocational skills.
The Office of International Programs (OIP) encompasses admissions to CCSF's many academic majors and certificates, student support services related to immigration for F-1 visa holders and other visa holders wishing to change their nonimmigrant status to F-1, and an Intensive English Program (IEP).
