Instructor Bio
Vivian teaches entrepreneurship, marketing and international business. She has 20 years of banking and consulting experience in Asia and North America, and has served in senior management positions in various global financial institutions. Vivian has been an entrepreneur who started and operated various small ventures for over ten years. Her corporate management experience and entrepreneurial journey inform her teaching style and philosophy.
Passionate about education that is accessible and inclusive, Vivian dedicated her advocacy work to teaching at refugee camps across the world through Jesuit Worldwide Learning. In 2018, she founded the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at CCSF to provide opportunities for adults and non-traditional learners to have access to socially responsible and transformative entrepreneurship education.
Vivian has a BS degree in Economics and a Master's in Business Administration. She is currently a doctoral student at Columbia University. In 2020, she was awarded as one of the three Canvas Educators of the Year.
